Biography |
|
Brian grew up in Athens Ohio, located in the Southeastern portion of the state where he attended Athens High School. He also attended Ohio State University and Ohio University where he participated in both marching bands. Although he did not graduate, he considers both experiences invaluable to his development. In 1983 he relocated to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area in Florida where he began a very successful career in consumer electronics working for companies like Sony in Florida and New Jersey, US Robotics, and Philips in Chicago. He is happily married to his wife of 15 years, Bunny, and they have a 5 year old daughter named Charlotte who started kindergarten this fall. The Parsons always wanted to move back to Ohio when they had a family, and that opportunity presented itself In 2002. After visiting several times in prior years, They decided that Avon was where they wanted to live and raise their family, where they could be close to family and friends. Brian is part owner of Hudson Access Group, a national consumer electronics representative firm, and works out of his home office in Avon. He also currently serves on the Lorain County Solid Waste Management Policy Committee as a public representative and Chairman of the Finance Subcommittee. As a member of this committee, he help rewrite the solid waste and recycling plan for Lorain County. The Ohio EPA calls this plan a “model plan for the state of Ohio”. |
