11/1/07 Update Well here we are less than a week before the election and coming down the home stretch! Thanks to many of you who have supported my campaign through yard signs, contributions and hopefully, your vote on 11/6/07! I have visited many of you in person and will continue walking Avon over the next several days. I have posted a few news items today and am very excited about the potential to serve Avon as a member of City Council. The Press stated in yesterdays edition that “Brian Parsons should not be discounted so easily” . I believe that my campaign has made and impact in Avon and hopefully the voters will agree! Please remind your friends and family to get out and vote on 11/6. Hello and welcome to ParsonsForAvon.com! We all know that Avon is a great place to live, raise a family and work. That’s why we chose to raise our family here and look forward to living in Avon for a very long time! I have become involved in several issues that affect Avon over the past few years such as commercial development, infrastructure improvement, recycling and many others. Over the next few years, Avon faces several important decisions regarding the new proposed recreational complex, residential and commercial development, the proposed I-90 interchange at Nagel road (as well as other needed road and traffic pattern improvements). How those decisions are managed will affect our city for generations to come! That is why I am running for Avon City Council At Large. I believe that my expertise, practical approach, negotiating experience and ability to bring people together will serve our city well. I am very excited about the opportunity to serve and hope you will give me the privilege of your vote! It will take a lot of work to make this happen!
